- Build your app
Describe it and keep refining it until it works the way you want on the phone preview.
- Write your listing and privacy policy
Both stores require a name, description, icon and a privacy policy. Ortivo writes all of them from your app.
- Download your store package
One zip with your app set up as an installable app, your icons, listing, privacy policy and a how-to file. Download it again whenever you change your app.
- Put it online for free
Unzip the package, then drag the folder onto Netlify Drop. Sign up for a free account so your link stays live. You'll get a link like your-app.netlify.app. Paste it here.
- Turn it into store apps
Paste your link into PWABuilder and press Start. Then package it for Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). The iOS project has to be uploaded from a Mac with Xcode.
- Submit to the stores
Start with Google Play: it costs less and reviews are faster. New personal accounts must run a closed test with a group of testers for about two weeks before going public. Then submit to Apple, who reviews every app.
